ABOUT THE AREA : SAN RAFAEL

San Rafael is a village located on a hill close to Ibiza City, half-way to San Antonio. The region is nested in luxuriant nature staying green the whole year long.
Being in the countryside but at the time only 7 minutes from Ibiza City, the yachting Marina Botafoch or the Airport reached using the 4 lanes highway is an important plus for this area.
San Rafael´s offer includes a few restaurants, bars, a supermarket, pharmacy, a banks, post office, a petrol stations. Down the highway to Ibiza at 3 km there is a large services area with Supermarkets, a petrol station and various decoration stores.
Ibiza South Coast is very lively and busy in the Summer season from May to October, Two of Ibiza´s world-famous clubs are located in San Rafael: Amnesia and Privilege. These iconic dance palaces are open six months per year. Even though, San Rafael remains a calm and easy-going village.
From San Rafael is it only a few minutes drive to the largest beach in Ibiza: Playa d’en Bossa with its famous entertainment mile and beach clubs Nassau, Ushuaïa, Beachouse, Coco Beach and many others. The natureal reserve of Salinas Beach offers great days at the sea with quality sand, clear waters and various good quality beach restaurants as SaTrinxa, Jockey Club or Malibu.

San Rafael has a small but picturesque village center with its 220 years old Ibicenco-style Church and plaza. A peaceful place to sit for a while and unwind.

MILD CLIMATE IN IBIZA
Ibiza and Formentera are drier and warmer than the rest of the Balearic Islands, presenting a semi-arid climate.
The average annual temperature of the island varies between 16º and 18.5º
Yearly rainfall is between 300 mm and 600 mm. The sun exposure of the territory is very high, with about 3,000 hours per year on 320 days.
