ABOUT THE AREA : SAN JORDI - KM2 to KM5

San Jordi is the area starting the West side of the city of Ibiza reaching up to the International Airport. It includes zones called Km2, Km3, km4 and Km5 referring to the distance on the road to San Josep.
Having all this great infrastructure right on its doorsteps makes San Jordi ideally and centrally located. Ibiza City offers 100´s of restaurants and bars, all kind of shops, any service like supermarkets, pharmacy, banks, dry-cleaner, etc.
One can enjoy the largest beach in Ibiza: Playa d’en Bossa with its famous entertainment mile and beach clubs Nassau, Ushuaïa, Beachouse, Coco Beach and many others. The natureal reserve of Salinas Beach offers great days at the sea with quality sand, clear waters and various good quality beach restaurants as SaTrinxa, Jockey Club or Malibu.

San Jordi is a suburbian area of Ibiza City reached in just a few minutes. UNESCO World Heritage Ibiza old town with the Cathedral at the top of the hill. A short walk uphill will be rewarded with a great panorama view of the city as well as on the other side of the fortress towards the Sea and Formentera Island,

The region is great for walking / hiking along the seashore around the natural reserve of "las Salinas", where inhabitants collect salt since 3000 years. A natural resource which also made Ibiza become a place of economical interest.

San Jordi hold in its region a few of the best beaches in Ibiza in Las Salinas natural reserve.
For example: Playa Es Cavalet with quality beach clubs El Chiriguito, Chiringay and la Escollera

San Jordi is home to the famous party strip "Playa d´en Bossa". Although San Jordi is only a few Kms away, in the village and surroundings nothing shows of the hype and excitation happening on the beach.

MILD CLIMATE IN IBIZA
Ibiza and Formentera are drier and warmer than the rest of the Balearic Islands, presenting a semi-arid climate. The average annual temperature of the island varies between 16º and 18.5º.
Yearly rainfall is between 300 mm and 600 mm. The sun exposure of the territory is very high, with about 3,000 hours per year on 320 days.
